A PPC management tool doesn't replace the Google Ads or Meta interface: it sits on top to audit accounts, catch budget drift, automate repetitive changes and prepare reports. This shortlist brings together six tools that do that job, grouped by the kind of account you manage. Every figure comes from their official pricing pages.

For search accounts: Optmyzr, Adalysis and Opteo

Optmyzr

According to its pricing page, Optmyzr combines bidding, account and feed audits, white-label reports, Shopping and Performance Max management, budget control and a Rule Engine to automate with your own rules. It covers Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, LinkedIn and Yahoo! Japan, charges by spend tier and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Who it's for: agencies and teams managing several platforms who want to automate.

Adalysis

The Adalysis pricing page highlights 100+ audit checks, alerts, budget projections and 40+ PPC tools, with unlimited accounts and users on every plan and a 30-, 45- or 60-day free trial.

Who it's for: Google Ads and Microsoft Ads specialists who prioritise auditing and analysis.

Opteo

According to its pricing page, Opteo charges by usage: Basic ($129/month) covers 10 accounts and up to $25,000 monthly spend; Professional ($249) 25 accounts and $100,000; Agency ($499) 75 accounts and $250,000; Enterprise is custom. It supports MCCs, includes Google Ads reports and refreshes data every 24 hours on Basic and every 12 on higher plans. There is a free trial.

Who it's for: advertisers and agencies focused only on Google Ads who want actionable recommendations at a clear price.

For Meta and social ads: Madgicx and Birch

Madgicx

The Madgicx pricing page presents Madgicx Pro Complete (automation, targeting, analytics and ad management) priced by monthly spend and shown inside the app, a Tracking Pro add-on at $49/month and a 7-day trial.

Who it's for: online stores that concentrate spend on Meta.

Birch (formerly Revealbot)

The Birch pricing page shows Essential ($49/month) and Pro ($99/month) at the selector's entry tier, with automated rules, Launcher and Explorer on Pro, and a 14-day trial with no card.

Who it's for: teams that want fine-grained rules and bulk launching on Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok. We compare both in Madgicx vs Birch.

For competitor research: Semrush Advertising

It doesn't manage your campaigns, but it completes the job. According to the Semrush Advertising toolkit pricing page (prices billed annually), the Base plan ($99/month) includes AI recommendations, a unified Google and Meta dashboard, competitor keyword analysis and Google Shopping ads research; Pro ($220/month) adds AdClarity with all competitor ads, including display, video and social.

Who it's for: anyone who needs to see what competitors bid on and advertise. More options in the best competitor ad intelligence tools.

How to choose

  • Google Ads only and you want something simple: Opteo.
  • Google and Microsoft with an audit focus: Adalysis.
  • Several platforms and automation: Optmyzr.
  • Ecommerce on Meta: Madgicx; rules on Meta and TikTok: Birch.
  • Competitor research: Semrush Advertising, alongside any of the above.

Our opinion

The tool that saves the most is the one that fits how you work, not the one with the most features. Start with a trial on a real account and measure how much time it actually saves each week. And be wary of any automation you can't explain: if you don't know why a bid changes, don't switch it on across every account at once. We track the platform changes that affect these tools in PPC News.

PPCradar currently has no affiliate agreement with any of these tools. If we did, the links would say so.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best PPC tool?

It depends on your platforms: Optmyzr if you manage several, Adalysis or Opteo if you mostly work on Google Ads, Madgicx or Birch if your spend is on Meta.

Which is cheapest to start?

Among published prices, Birch Essential ($49/month at the entry tier) and Opteo Basic ($129/month). Optmyzr, Adalysis and Madgicx depend on your monthly spend.

Do they have a free trial?

Adalysis (30 to 60 days), Birch (14 days), Madgicx (7 days) and Opteo offer trials; Optmyzr offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Do I need a tool if I already use Google Ads recommendations?

It isn't required. These tools save time on audits, alerts and reports, especially if you manage several accounts.

Does Semrush manage campaigns?

Its Advertising toolkit focuses on competitor keyword and ad research and recommendations; it doesn't replace a management suite.
