Windsor.ai vs Dataslayer (and Supermetrics): which connector to choose
Updated: · PPCradar by Modernitos · how we work

Contents
Windsor.ai and Dataslayer do the same job: they bring data from Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads and dozens more sources into Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Power BI and other destinations. Both are common alternatives to Supermetrics. Where they differ is in how they count what you pay for: Windsor.ai limits sources and total accounts; Dataslayer limits connectors, users and accounts per connector.

Windsor.ai: account volume
According to its pricing page, every plan includes every connector, unlimited users, unlimited syncs to BI tools, up to 10 years of history, MCP access and read and write actions. What changes between plans is the number of sources, the number of accounts, destination tasks and sync frequency. A key detail for agencies: each client under a Google Ads MCC counts as one account. Professional adds automatic onboarding of new accounts and Enterprise goes up to 200 sources, white label and SSO.
Dataslayer: teams and unlimited rows
According to its pricing page, the core destinations —Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio and Power BI— have no row limit; "enterprise" destinations (data warehouses) do, depending on the plan. Advanced includes 10 users, data blending and AI Insights, and Pro adds unlimited users and a dedicated account manager. Buying several destinations brings discounts of 10% (two) or 15% (three), and it can import data from Supermetrics.
What about Supermetrics?
It's the benchmark both get compared with. Its pricing page starts at $44/month billed annually on Starter (1 destination, 3 sources, 1 user, 3 accounts per source) and $177 on Growth (6 sources, 2 users, 7 accounts per source); BigQuery and Snowflake are on Enterprise. With the same three connectors, Windsor.ai Basic ($19) and Dataslayer Starter ($35) cost less on annual billing, and Windsor.ai includes many more accounts (75 in total).
Who each one is for
- Windsor.ai is for agencies and freelancers with many client accounts on few platforms, and for anyone who needs frequent syncs or less common sources.
- Dataslayer is for teams working in Google Sheets and Looker Studio with several users who value a European vendor that doesn't store their data.
- Supermetrics is for companies that prefer the most established vendor or are moving to a data warehouse.
Our opinion
If you run an agency, the limit that hurts most is usually accounts, and there Windsor.ai clearly wins: 75 accounts from the Basic plan. If you're an in-house team with few accounts but several people working on reports, Dataslayer Advanced (10 users) fits better. Both have free trials: connect the same accounts to each and compare the available fields before migrating reports. There are more options in the best Looker Studio connectors.
Before building the report, make sure measurement is right: review Enhanced Conversions and Consent Mode v2.
PPCradar currently has no affiliate agreement with either. If we did, the links would say so.
